Susan is our Dental Receptionist.  She brings her cheerful smile and ever-helpful personality every day to the practice to impress patients and make them feel welcomed.  She’s as sweet as they come and you’ll be glad you met her.
“Hi!  My name is Susan and I’m the Dental Receptionist at Walnut Hill Dental.  When you call our office, I’m the first person you’ll speak to.  I love to answer my patient’s questions and help them in every way I can.  I always let our patients know when they come into our office it’s not just a dental office.  It’s our dental home.  I decided to get into this field because I love to help people.  What makes me happy about this field is seeing our patients leaving happy and satisfied knowing that they had a wonderful experience here and meeting our great staff.  I’m proud to be part of this team because we do great things together.  Our team is always going the extra mile.  My hobbies are taking walks on the beach and watching the sun go down.  I collect coffee mugs and love spending time with my husband and kids.  I’ve been here at Walnut Hill Dental for one year and I’m glad to be part of this wonderful office.”

Ana D. is Dr. Tsibel’s right hand.  It’s a good thing too, because when Dr. Tsibel is performing those special procedures, you want a good dose of Ana’s empathy and sincerity holding your hand all the way.

“My name is Ana Dominguez, RDA.  I am a registered dental assistant with my A.A. degree from Los Angeles City College.  I started to work on August of 1976 and I haven’t stopped working since.  I haven’t felt the years go by.  Maybe the key has been that I like my work.  Since I started in this field, I have seen how dentistry has evolved through the years.  I feel so lucky to be a part of this profession.

My favorite hobbies are dancing, yoga, and reading.  I have been working at here since November of 1999.  Previously I worked with Dr. Tsibel in the year of 1992.  I look forward to meet with you and I will be here to take care of you.”

Ana N. is hard working and fast paced.  But she always has time to talk to patients about their dental needs.  Being bi-lingual really helps Ana connect with everybody.  Having been smoke-free for 7 years now, she believes in encouraging patients to “kick the habit” and enjoys encouraging them toward better overall health.  Ana is a strong and self-motivated team member.

“Patients are always important.  I always cared about my teeth. That’s why I decided to get into the dental field.  I enjoy educating patients for better oral health, advising them on how they can make it easy at home.  I enjoy talking to patients.  I enjoy what I do.  I’ve been in dentistry for 15 years and have enjoyed the past six years at Walnut Hill Dental.  My experiences there have been helpful in improving my life as a person and as a dental assistant.”

Johnny has been with us for 7 years now and is our comedian in the office.  He’s never too busy to make everybody laugh or to put somebody at ease with laughter.  In short, he’s the “class clown.”  He’s also fixes everything in the practice and keeps our practice working like a precision watch. Johnny’s strengths are his calming ways with fearful children and adults, because deep down, he’s the biggest scaredy cat of all when it comes to dental treatment.  His ability to relate to patient’s fears really helps people feel understood.  It’s a boring day without Johnny in the office.

“I’ve been an assistant for 11 years and I love working with people and helping them work through their fears.  Every day I have an opportunity to help someone and it’s gratifying for me!”

Tiffany started with us three years ago, and worked her way up to Insurance Coordinator.  She has a cheerful personality that patients can easily connect with.  Her strengths are definitely her perfect memory.  She will remember every patient down to the last detail.  She’s a valuable member of our team.

“I’m in the dental field by accident.  I didn’t have dental experience, but the opportunity presented itself, and I rose to the occasion and loved it.  Nine years later, I still love it.  I enjoy meeting new people every day, helping them understand their oral health needs, and enrolling them in treatment.  It’s affirmation that I’m connecting with my patients and getting the message across about how important their oral health is.  I love being in the dental field!”

Nidia has been with us for over ten years, starting as back office assistant then finding her niche in dentistry working as an insurance coordinator.  But she can do every front office job imaginable, and with a personality that’s incredibly sincere and helpful.  Sometimes, patients come just to socialize with Nidia.  She's all heart.

“I’ve been in the field over 12 years.  At first I was skeptical because working in someone’s mouth wasn’t the most exciting thing to do.  As the months went on, I had a lot of positive experiences with patients.  I saw treatments that could change a person’s life in one appointment.  My patient’s self esteem skyrocketed!  This made me feel so happy.  It’s rewarding when I get a hug from a fearful patient because they had a great experience, or when we get treats from patients who just want to say thanks.  I just love helping patients and doing the right thing for them.”

Hi! I’m Michelle. Welcome to our practice website. I’m one of your treatment coordinators. I have over 20 years experience n the dental field and love my profession. I’m looking forward to meeting you and helping you make your dreams come true.

When I came in to the dental field it was because I needed a job. I didn’t realize that it was going to be my profession. I made it my profession because I loved seeing all the happy patients with a big smile. Our office made that happen. What a great feeling I felt knowing that I contributed my time to care for these patients not only for their appearance or self-confidence, but for their health as well.

In the three years I’ve been working at walnut hill dental, I have the utmost respect and confidence for Dr. Tsibel and Dr. Abaro. I’ve seen so many difficult cases handled, but Dr. Abaro and Dr. Tsibel amaze me that they can do it without any hesitation and total confidence. Both of them work as a team. Our office is not just co-workers or acquaintances, but we are truly a family. This is our home away from home and I’m looking forward to you joining our family.

Elena: “I can recall that even at an early age I possessed a deep interest in medicine.  I was always curious about the functions of the human body, and felt a genuine concern for the well being of people.  The opportunity to obtain employment at Walnut Hill Dental was in essence the blending of both of my passions, medicine and its benefit to people.  I am proud of the fact that for the passed 15 years as an employee of Walnut Hill Dental, I have been able to serve a vital role as the flue of the office.  My contribution has been that of organizer, insurance biller, and general supervisor of daily operations as they relate to patient satisfaction.  I receive fulfillment from the knowledge that the office is always well stocked, necessary supplies are readily available, and everything is where it belongs.  This organization translates to a more efficient and confident staff, and ultimately patients receive exceptional service with minimal discomfort.  My goals with regard to collections and insurance claims are similar.  My first concern is always s that the patient is treated fairly, and that their respective insurance companies handle their claims appropriately.

My personal life is predominantly consumed with friends and family.  I am fortunate to be the grandmother of three boys and one girl and the mother of twin daughters.  On the weekends, there is never a shortage of physical and creative activities that I can share with my daughters and grandchildren.  When by some unusual circumstances I become surrounded by silence, I do enjoy variety of ready materials, and cooking for my family.”

Dr Tsibel: “I consider myself fortunate to have a career that allows me to support my family and provides me with a daily sense of accomplishment.  I don’t have to force myself to come to work each and every morning because I genuinely enjoy what I do.  Undoubtedly, it's easier to achieve a certain level of success when it is based upon a profound interest in your occupation.  It is this interest in the devotion to my profession that motivates me to continuously advance my skills.  I strive to polish my patient interaction skills and my theoretical and practical knowledge of Dentistry.  I must admit, that I if did not receive the current degree of satisfaction from my practice, I would explore my passion for teaching.  While I have pursued the latest advancements in dentistry, I have simultaneously shared my discoveries with colleagues.  It has taken years to reach my present understanding of implantology and laser dentistry.  The next best thing to witnessing the satisfaction and amazing results of my patients is the transfer of information to other dentists.  While I realize that I will always have more to learn and an everlasting thirst for new knowledge, it is a privilege and an honor to be respected by my colleagues.  At the end of a long and often stressful day, while driving home to my family, I know that my techniques and expertise had improved the quality of life of others.  The improvement may be as subtle as a prettier smile that lends itself to increased self-confidence.  The change in a patient’s life may be as significant as the ability to chew, increased appetite, decreased pain, or the ability to communicate more effectively.  In many cases the results of treatment can improve overall health and quality of life.  Sincerely, dentistry gives as much back to me as I give to it.”

Dr. Abaro: “I’ve always been good with my hands. I could make or fix anything. But my previous profession in the medical field left me wanting more to do with my natural talent. The hospital taught me the most important lessons for my dental career though. It taught me how to care for people’s emotional needs, how to communicate with patients, and how to empathize with someone in pain. I feel so fortunate to be in a profession where I go to my office not to work, but to do things that I love. Such as helping people improve their quality of life through dental education, using my hands to create beautiful smiles, alleviate pain, and meet new people. The greatest satisfaction I receive from dentistry is connecting with patients through education. By using simple explanations, photographs of their condition, and relating it on terms they are familiar with, my goal is to motivate patients to take control of their situation and start living the quality life they deserve now. Too often I meet people who live with conditions and handicaps on a day-to-day basis that lowers their quality of life. My philosophy is to help them take control of their health and improve their quality of life forever. And hopefully in the process, they effect the same change in the people around them. It’s incredible when I see people regain control and start getting so much more out of life.”
